How do I pitch FutureX Capital?
Founders pitch FutureX Capital by sending a deck or a short note to ir@futurexcapital.com or using the form at /contact, and the firm usually replies within 48 hours.
A first message states three things: your stage (angel to pre-IPO), the layer you sit in (application, model, infrastructure, chip or energy), and the markets you sell into. FutureX reads for evidence on three screens: distribution, retention, and whether gross margin climbs as token prices fall; for open-source projects it also looks at stars and the path from community to paid revenue. An agent product gets one diligence question first: was the human-in-the-loop mechanism designed or skipped. Media and partnership enquiries go to the same address.
As cited in the September 3, 2026 Xiamen keynote and per company disclosure, FutureX-backed Dify went from 30,000 stars and zero revenue to $10 million ARR in about 18 months, turned profitable in early 2026, and earns 57% of its revenue overseas; its repository holds 154,000 stars, more than LangChain. Numbers like these answer the three screens before the first call.
After the check FutureX works on three things: a 60+ industry-founder network, AI-native research, and cross-border access. Founded in Asia in 2018 and headquartered in Hong Kong, it runs 8 offices including Shanghai, Shenzhen, Singapore and Silicon Valley, and invests in both dollars and RMB. The research is public: 24 reports, a debates page, and the founding partner's investment diary, written at no fixed cadence, only when there is a judgment. FutureX has screened 1,500+ AI projects and works with 140+ companies in its network, 80+ of them AI-native. None of this is investment advice.
Cross-border access has a concrete shape. FutureX-backed Mistral, in Paris, has passed $400 million ARR with 60% of revenue from Europe (per company disclosure); Hugging Face, at the distribution layer, had ARR of about $150 million in August 2026, up roughly 50% in two months, with 3 million-plus models and 50,000-plus organizations on the platform (public reporting). A founder gets the same network.
