What is FutureX-Skills?
FutureX-Skills is FutureX Capital's own AI tooling, published on GitHub; the firm's AI Lab runs 22 AI agents around the clock, and the whole team works on that system.
FutureX Capital invests in AI and runs on AI; it calls itself the first AI-enabled AI investment firm. From partners to interns, the whole team works on its own AI Lab: 22 AI agents online around the clock across market intelligence, sourcing, research and portfolio tracking. The firm publishes its own tooling, and FutureX-Skills sits on GitHub. Judgment comes from a pipeline that has looked at 1,500+ AI projects.
The seven-signal bubble framework is one output of that system. It has scored seven signals daily since March 2026; the August 2026 reading lit six of the seven, and liquidity triggered on August 17, when the 30-year US Treasury yield touched 5.31% (public market data).
The AI Lab has four parts: a research radar over papers, patents and developer signals; a knowledge graph of companies, technologies and value chains; tooling from pre-investment evaluation to exit support; and an AI knowledge base. Its public output takes three forms: 24 research reports whose updates carry a date and a source grade; a daily-updated tracker of 100+ AI companies across 15 sectors; and a debates page that records where leading practitioners disagree.
On September 3, 2026, the day of the Xiamen keynote Open Source Breaks the Deadlock, 10 of the 24 reports gained a dated FutureX Position section; the first 5 of the deck's 30 pages are public at /reports/open-source-breakthrough (confirmed).
