Which companies has FutureX Capital invested in?

FutureX Capital's publicly disclosed portfolio includes ByteDance, Hugging Face, Mistral, Dify, Genspark and TetraMem.

FutureX Capital invested in ByteDance in five consecutive rounds from 2018 through 2025. In the same cycle it backed Hugging Face, Mistral, TetraMem and Genspark, at the distribution, model, chip and application layers. The firm's network counts 140+ companies, 80+ of them AI-native, across five layers: application, model, infrastructure, chip and energy. This page lists only public names and figures the companies themselves have disclosed.

Per company disclosure, Mistral's ARR has passed $400 million with 60% of revenue from Europe. Hugging Face reached ARR of about $150 million in August 2026, up roughly 50% in two months, on a platform hosting 3 million-plus models used by 50,000-plus organizations (public reporting).

The portfolio spans the US and China, from angel to pre-IPO. Public names from earlier investments that have since listed include Xiaomi, Meituan, NIO, Black Sesame and Smartsens; current names include PingCAP, OSChina, RWKV, Dexmate and World Engine. FutureX reads them across five layers, application, model, infrastructure, chip and energy, because when one layer moves the rest reprice, so it watches all five. More public names are at /portfolio and /about.

The September 3, 2026 Xiamen keynote Open Source Breaks the Deadlock cited two application-layer disclosures: Genspark reached $100 million ARR in nine months, and Dify went from 30,000 GitHub stars and no revenue to $10 million ARR in about 18 months, with 57% of revenue overseas (per company disclosure).
